Drink for cold

Probably because the temperature has suddenly turned very low, I was almost catching a cold.

When I asked a person at a drugstore, she recommended a Kakkonto drink.

And it worked very well.

Ironing

Today we changed our cloths in the closet from summer to winter and I have a lot to iron.

In the summer season I didn't have to iron because I mostly wore T-shirts or iron free Y-shirts.

Wow, a very Japanese traditional style!

Foods were beautiful.

And many enjoyable events and games!

We ate, drunk, sang and chatted until midnight...

Tea ceremony

In the hotel there was a tea room.

In the room they served a welcome tea ceremony.

Oh, it's really Japanese style!

It also matched a Japanese snack(wagashi) very much.

Mt. Fuji

I went to Fuji-yoshida as a recreation trip with my ex-coworkers.

I went by highway bus by me alone.

In the bus, next on my seat, a guy from UK was sitting.

He is a professional photographer and we talked a lot, more than one hour, in the bus.

It was much fun but got tired to talk in English so long.

The hotel was 10 minutes drive from the Fujiyoshida station.

A beautiful silhouette of the Mt. Fuji welcomed me.

Book order at Amazon

I ordered books at Amazon in the very midnight.

Only after two days they were delivered in the morning.

The books I bought were good.
Especially, one includes lots of illustration and is very easy to understand.

Only one thing I feel difficult is that the book tells it needs 8 weeks to prepare.

I have only 2 weeks.

Meanwhile, I have TOO many works to do other than the conference preparation!

I'm going to make a poster presentation (an interactive presentation) at Texas USA next month.

Actually I have done a lot with oral but none with poster.

What I first doing is to buy books telling "how to make a poster presentation"!

Too much busy day 2

It was also a busy day.

I designed a circuit using a CAD (computer aided design) software that I used to use long time ago.

I needed a lot of time to remind how to use it.

Finally I worked till late again.

But it was lucky that a grocery store was still open.

In front of the store, there was a cute dog.

Every body stopped and talked to the dog.

I bought a bento, a packed supper... :-(

It was a national holiday, a Health and sports day.

The sky was perfectly blue.

We went to Kinuta park for a walk.

There is Setagaya museum.
It is popular and so many people were coming on the day.

Can you see what a good contrast between blue sky and white chair!

Lily also enjoyed our lunch with beer and wine.

What a perfect Holiday.

Spicy sesame oil

In Japan it is getting popular to eat with spicy sesame oil.

Spicy sesame oil itself was originally coming from Chinese food, but this oil is less spicy and is able to "eat".

Busy day

On the next morning I got up early and left the ryokan before 6:30 am.

At Tokyo station I had a breakfast.

Then took a Shinkansen to Hamamatsu.

After finishing the meeting, I returned Tokyo and then went to CEATEC in Kaihin-makuhari, Chiba.

I could attend only one hour before closed.

I was very tired until I couldn't walk any more, but I had to take 2 more hour to back to home!

It was a very busy day...

Old ryokan

I stayed at a very old ryokan, Japanese-style inn.

It looked like just an used apartment house.

It was old but I think most Japanese including me used to live in such apartment.
