Hodogaya station

I was born in Yokohama but probably for decades of year I have not come to this JR Hodogaya station.

There were so many changes here. It looks like a new town.

About a few minutes drive from the station, there is Matsubara shopping street.

It was Saturday but so many people were gathering and shopping.

Actually I didn't know here is such a popular place for shoppers.

You can buy anything you want in low price.

Reluxing time

It was Friday yesterday.
I left the office on time and went to have a ramen with wife.

We were with Lily but she was waiting in the car while we eat.

When backed home, she came and sat close to in my knee.

A relaxing coffee time.

And more relaxing time...

It's cool

It's cool or rather cold this morning.

I took a walk with Lily.

She hasn't walked in the morning for days because of heat or rain.

Easy walk, wet and cool. Fun and comfortable.

Back to home earlier

The health check was ok.
My weight seems (actually, pretends) to keep the same.

After back to office, I had a meeting with a patent company. I wrote two but will have to write probably one or two more patents this month.

No way!

Back to home and have a good dinner with family. Any idea will never come from the office!

Ready to health check?

I finished my work but got fat as I just sat on a chair in front of a PC for almost a couple of days. And ate a lot.

Oh no, tomorrow is a day for my health check!

I decided not to eat for dinner.

Fat and hungry...

Today is a national holiday for old people.

Many people go and meet to their parents and sometimes have a lunch or dinner together, or make a phone call to say hello.

But, I'm still working because I couldn't finish my work yesterday...

Renew a pasmo card

My pasmo card, an IC pass card for transportation of buses and trains, has expired.

It is just because my credit card has been renewed. (valid date has extended).

So you don't have to be in a panic.
To renew pasmo is so easy.

Just put your pasmo card into an automatic ticket machine, then select the menu "renew card information".

That's all.

Clean the room 2

I dumped tons of trash and moved many things out from the guest room.

We then went to a do-it-yourself shop like "Target" and bought extra bed and 6 boxes of small chest.

The chest needed to build by ourselves and we turned 96 screws by hand!

We couldn't be a carpenter and will need a motor-assisted screwdriver next time.

I learned from coworker

During the business trip I had last week, I talked a lot with my coworker.

He is a good guy, friendly, and smart.

He is disabled but tough.

He said everyone could be tough if you are in difficulty.

Although He is young, he thinks a lot and I respect him.

Two patents a day

My boss alarmed that our group has only few patents this year.

He started to send the alarm mail person to person.

I hated it and began to write a patent soon.
(that's what he intended!)

I'm a contrary person and wrote two patents in a day!

No one would complain to me more...

Meeting with a friend from Fukuoka

We met Bud at Daikan-yama this weekend.

He introduced us a nice friend from Fukuoka.

He is a doctor (plastic surgeon) and had been in Stanford.

We had a common friend in Stanford and already talked with him by e-mail.

Last month we met his wife and this time we all got together.

They are very nice couple and are easy to talk.

We chatted for hours although they have to back to Fukuoka in a few days and must be busy.

Good meeting, talks, drinks, foods, and weekend.

Matsuyama day 3

In the daytime we attended the conference.

After that, in the evening, we went to the Dougo Onsen spa, a national famous spa building.

Near the spa, there is a Yu-jinja shrine that is a god of the spa.

From that point you can see the full view of the spa.

After bathing, we went to a beer restaurant.

They serves their original local beer and sake.

These are both tasting sets we tried all!

And finally, we ate a Tai-chazuke, or chazuke with slices of porgy, a bowl of rice covered with a red-snapper fish immersed in green tea and eaten hot.

It is also famous as a local food.

Cheers to the final splendid dinner of this trip!
