Twitter

I have used twitter for about an year but mostly for just checking my friend's twitter.

But in these earthquake and especially for gathering the latest information about the nuclear power plant accidents, twitter is a good tool.

In my case, these two are very good and reliable. (Sorry Japanese only.):

@nhk_kabun :NHK報道局科学文化部

Old style tearoom

In Hamamatsu, we went to an old style tearoom.

It was so retro as if I tripped to the Showa era.

Starting ordinary

I have started my work in the ordinary way.

We have to go forward and we can't stop our works.

I had a business trip to Shizuoka.

A cherry blossom in front of the Hamamatsu station was in full bloom.

Biked 30 km

Last Saturday I had a work at Koganei, Tokyo.

Hum...
It's a job, but it's holiday.
And the weather is good.

And...
I have to save energy.
I have to prepare for the case trains stop and to learn the root to back without public transportation...etc.

Then I decided to try to go there by bicycle.

I added an oil to the chain and the gear.

The result was...

I was too much tired and I won't do it again.

The only good thing for me was I found a good ramen shop for the lunch.

Fast cherry blossom

We took a walk around a Kinuta park and found a cherry blossom.

It is called a fast cherry blossom.

Lily met a new friend there.

Other cherry trees are also trying to bloom.

We are ready to go forward.

At last
Nuclear contamination from the Fukushima nuke was found in water in Tokyo.

Please

That's enough.

Happy daily life

Although we still have to very much watch and see the situation of the damaged nuke plants, and people in the disaster are still in deep difficulty, I first have a calm weekend after one week.

A warm day in Tokyo.

I hope all people in Japan will have the same happy days soon.

Japanese super hero

Tokyo Fire Department, FDA, hyper rescue team succeeded to 13.5 hours continuously shower water to cool the exploded nuclear plant Fukushima 1 reactor 3.

They understand all risk how that action under that radiation was "peril", but they ventured to accomplish for Japan.

Absolutely they are super heroes of Japan!

I respect them very much.

What I do in these morning

What I do every morning is to get up at 5am and check today's power plant's damages, power failure schedule, and train halt schedules by the power cut.

Then after confirming today's radiation level, go for Lily's morning walk.

Hope more safe days.

No more Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO)

Please stop nuclear plant crisis.
Especially Fukushima plant #1 reactor #3.

Thanks to the SDF(Self-Defense Forces) and the FDA(Fire Defense Agency).

No more Tokyo Electric Power Company(TEPCO).

You are blameworthy nationally and internationally.

Japan earthquake 4

To save the electric power is important.

People should learn how to perform it and keep it.

And please not be cold any more.
People in Tohoku disaster need a warm.

Japan earthquake 3

The radiation leak measured at the Fukushima nuclear power plant #3 was 400 milli-sievert.

The unit was milli-, not micro-.

I can't believe it!

I think it's already in an emergency situation.

Japan earthquake 2

The biggest concern.

More than 15 thousand people are unknown.

Nuke power plant"s" ARE damaging.

Trains stopped and companies suspended in the metropolitan area.

3/13/2011

Japan earthquake

Devastating.

One whole city, Rikuzen takata in Miyagi, was almost completely lost by tsunami.
More than two thousand people are dead or unknown in Japan.

Most other concerning is nuclear power plant damage.
It must be urgent but very few information from Tokyo Electric Power Company.

Homemade sashimi

I tried to slice a raw fish last weekend.

A TV program said it's easy even if I'm beginner.

I bought a horse mackerel fish and tried.

Let me see...

How was the look?

Dropped a wallet and got back

I dropped my wallet on the last Sunday.

I was in a hurly and run into a bus stop.
After riding on the bus, I couldn't find my wallet.

I got off the bus and walked back for several hundred meters, and finally found it at the bus stop where I rode.

What good things were the period I left was short and there was completely no money in my wallet. :-(

What I learned was...
Don't be in panic.
I should always act with calmness.

Nakata's kintsuba

My wife bought a present from Kanazawa.

Nakata's kintsuba!

Kintsuba is a confection of sweetened beans wrapped in wheat-flour dough.

Especially nakata, a brand name, tastes very good and is my favorite.
