Today is the last day of the year.
In this year I have done a lot.
Besides, I have a lot of changes.
That's what I needed and wanted, and I have overcome, so that's good.
One more thing I very much proud of is that I continues my English blog, almost everyday for the year.
(And I thank YOU for reading my blog. )
Good job, and good year.
Hope next year, too.
And hope you too.

Samgyetang
We went to a restaurant that is NOT located in a main street.
Wow...
So much challengeable, isn't it?
I ordered Samgyetang (Korean pronunciation: [samɡjetʰaŋ])
"Samgyetang is a variety of guk or Korean soup, which primarily consists of a whole young chicken and Korean ginseng."
(wikipedia)
Of course my first trial.
It was good but a little too much volume for me.

Shin-ookubo
I went to Shin-ookubo to have a lunch with a friend.
This is my first time to visit here but it was far retro area than I have imagined.
Of corse now it's famous place where lots of Korean fans coming.
But once you take a walk for a minute from the station, you might be took back to Showa era.
Or just walk round the backside of the station. You won't believe here is a middle of Tokyo.

Met my old teacher
I met my old teacher after 20 years.
He was my instructor when I got my teaching license.
(I am engineer but I have a teaching license for technical high school)
He retired twice and is still very active about education. He was exited to create his original rocket with students when I visited his office.

A friend from Finland
A person from Finland visited my blog and kindly left a comment.
Actually I couldn't read nor understand Finnish,
but I tried to translate using Google translator.
I managed to read the comment and finally find his photo blog.
It's beautiful and good to know what's like Finnish events.
It is interesting to see it from Japan, such a far place from Finland.

Yokohama marathon 3
After they finished, we moved to Yokohama china town and had a lunch at Fukutei.
It's good as it is by the Chinese shrine and feels as if we were in china when we saw people praying in a smoke.
The lunch course included big shrimps, shark tail soup, and free drink.
And, most important thing to us, they allow pet!

Yokohama marathon 2
Sanae, one of our Stanford friends, first time tried and completed her 10 km course.
Congratulation!
How wonderful!
And her husband also attended the half course.
Wow, double finish?
Actually, Sanae came first.
Many attendee were coming to the goal, so we also enjoyed looking for our friends in them.

Hakodate ramen in Hamamatsu
Business trip to Hamamatsu again.
I left home at 7 in the morning and backed home almost in the midnight.
Fuuuu. It was a long day...
The meeting continued for four hours.
When I finished my work, I missed the Shinkansen that I wanted to take and had to wait for one more hours.
It was almost dark in the evening. I looked for a ramen shop In the Hamamatsu station.
There was a Hakodate ramen shop.
Why Hakodate in Hamamatsu?
Anyway, I tried a shio (salt taste) ramen.
It looked good, but actually, the taste was not good enough.
