Blue sky in autumn

In Tokyo it had been mostly clouded or raining in August. 

Today it was purely fine day after a long days.

Wait for mama in a rain

I’m waiting for mama to back from shopping. 

I’m with papa in the car. 

It was a heavy rain.

Those are our dogs. 

The miniature dachshund is 17 years old and the toy poodle is 4 years old.

Bamboo grove

I love bamboos. 

Especially bamboo groves relax my mind very much. 

I found this bamboo grove on my running way. 

Oh,so green,so calm,and so refreshing!

Repaired iPhone 6

Repaired iPhone 6

I have been using iPhone 6 for about 5 years. It fits good to my relative small hand size and is also good to carry in my pocket. 

However,the silent switch didn’t work from a few months ago. Then I brought it to a cell phone shop. At first they recommended to change to a new one such as iPhone SE, but I refused because I have an insurance for repairs. 

After all the silent switch was broken permanently and they replaced my iPhone with a new one. 

It’s pretty good to me because the new iPhone has a new battery and a new camera lens also. Actually, the camera lens was a little foggy but now is very clear!

Welcome back my iPhone 6. We will be together for more years !?

Wristband suntan

As a result of the 10 km runs, my arm was suntanned but under the watch wristband. :-)

10 kilometers run!

I run on weekends. 

It is usually 3 km but this time it was 10 km. 

The question is speed. 

Can you imagine how fast I run?

It’s 10 minutes per kilometer, which is 6 km/h. 

It’s like a walking! 

Shio yakisoba

I cooked fried noodles (yakisoba). 

I usually use soy sauce for seasoning but this time I tried salt (“shio”)sauce. 

It was my first time but the taste was good. 

A cicada was coming

A cicada was coming to my home. 

I haven’t seen it in such a close up for long time. 

The shape of the wing is so beautiful. 

Summer sky!

It’s summer!

Very hot summer in Japan. 

The temperature was almost 35 degrees Celsius. 

I usually run in the morning but when holidays sometimes in the midday...

Alexandria Old Town

Before going to New Hampshire, I was in Virginia.
On the weekend, I visited Alexandria Old Town.


There was a market.
I bought a lot of fruits!


Alexandria is very much pet friendly town.


Old cars match in the Old Town.


After visiting a National Inventors Hall of Fames Museum, I went to Hank’s Oyster Bar.


A set of six oysters. I couldn’t distinguish the difference.



But the bouillabaisse was really perfect!

Autumn colors in Hanover

I had been in Hanover in New Hampshire, US, last month.



It was a good season to see beautiful autumn colors.



Dartmouth college is also beautiful.

New kitchen knife

I bought a new kitchen knife.

The old one (upper in the picture) has been used for more than twenty years.
I sharpened it again and again but the sharpness of the new one is far good.
I like KAI brand.

I feel as if I become a better cooker! :-)

Happy Valentine's day

In Japan, male get a present from ladies on the Saint Valentine's Day.

Good sake

It is a good chance to drink a good sake during the new year.
This year My friend gifted us a good sake.
It is called "Sogen" and is a limited nouveau.
