Mt. Fuji?

I went Hamamatsu on business.

On the way to go, I tried to find Mt. Fuji from Shinkansen.



Mmm, not near one but seems far one.



Finally I couldn't find the mountain.

It would be much easier when in winter as the air will be clearer.

LED lamp

Last day a ceiling light bulb of my house burned out suddenly.

I thought it's a good time to change the light from bulb to LED.




Upper: Mini crypton light bulb (40 watts)
Lower: LED lamp (4.5 watts)


Though I had wondered if the brightness of the LED might be less, but the result was good.

In addition, the power consumption of the light went down to one tenth!

The only problem is... the price of the light was still ten times higher than normal bulbs.

Eco air conditioning

Today I cleaned the porch of my apartment.

At the same time, I moved the outdoor unit with a slight angle.



Only by that, the power consumption of the air conditioner will be reduced significantly, because the air flow is very important for the outdoor units.

Swimming and noodle

Today I swam 1500 meters, which was 500 meters longer than usual.

Cool mat

It's July.

In this summer we have to save energy because of TEPCO's failure.

We bought a cool mat.
That has a gel inside to keep cool.

I hope we can stay overnight without air conditioner.
